Terms and Conditions

Cancellation Policy:

If cancelled or modified 7 days prior to arrival date there will be no charge. If cancelled or modified within 7 days prior to arrival date 100% of the first nights’ accommodation will be charged. In the event of a no-show 100% of the total reservation will be charged. However, if you have booked a discounted Non-Refundable Rate payment is taken at the time of booking and these reservations are non-refundable. Choose your room and rate with care. By booking a room at Coronation Lodge you accept these terms and conditions and authorize any penalties that you may incur. We do advise you consider travel insurance as bad weather frequently affects flights and roads into Queenstown. Cancellations Fees can be claimed with most travel insurance policies. 

Payment Policy:

Full payment is required at arrival. A valid credit card will need to be supplied to guarantee the room. We accept all major credit cards. The credit card supplied to guarantee the room may be authorized prior to your arrival for the amount equal to one nights accommodation.  We also accept EFTPOS and CASH.  Payment is only available on check out if a credit card can be pre-authorized on arrival for our security. 

Privacy Policy:

All personal details provided to Coronation Lodge will be recorded confidentially and no information provided by guests to Coronation Lodge will be shared with third parties without the guests permission to do so. We do not store credit card details on file or within our reservation system.

Noise Policy:

We are small lodge with only 12 rooms, in consideration to all our guests we kindly ask there are no visitors in the lodge after 10pm. Do not book a room at Coronation Lodge if you are intending to entertain groups of people anytime of the day.  We have a stirct no party policy.  We reserve the right to cancel reservations and remove any persons from the property who continues to disturb other guests within the building. 

Christmas and New Year Policy 23rd December to 3rd January:

Minimum check in age is 25 year old, you will be asked for ID on check if you look younger. (Children travelling with Parents excluded.)
Zero Tolerance to excessive noise and alcohol, behaviour that is found to be disruptive towards other guests and staff will result in eviction of anyone in breach of this policy.
Full payment on arrival and a valid credit card must be available for a security hold of $300.

Group Booking Policy:

We simply cannot accept large group bookings, please do not book over three rooms without contacting us directly.  The lodge is best suited to free and independent travellers. We have experienced issues with noise and late cancellations in the past which has prompted the need to restict group size.
